Hitler believed that women’s lives should revolve around the three K’s Kinder, Küche, Kirche (Children, Kitchen, Church).
The Motherhood cross was awarded to women who exceed a specific number of babies, what were the numbers?
Bronze was awarded for 5 babies, Silver for 6 or seven and Gold for 8 plus.
What were women barred from doing?
Doing jury duty, voting or holding any positions of political power because Hitler believed that they could not “think logically or reason objectively”.
In 1933 the Law for the encouragement of marriage was put into place, what is it?
This law gave newlyweeds a loan of 1000 marks and allowed them to keep 250 marks for every child they had, if a man had more than 4 children with a woman then he was allowed to divorce them.
