- Smooth Pulley.

A
FR = ma.

How do you solve Connected Particle Questions?
A
- Use FR = ma to form 2 equations for the 2 different particles.
- Set ‘FR’ as the weight of the particle - (T) Tension for the lowest particle and T - weight for the other.
- Set ‘ma’ as the mass x ‘a’.

- Consider the system as a whole.
- Use FR = ma.
