Q

how is conflict presented in juliet

A
  • balcony soliloquy where she tries to rationalise her feelings, = “rose other sweet” one; metpahor to illustrate a name means nothing, rose is a symbol of romance and shakespeare shows duality of love as it can be harsh and beautiful
  • oxymorons (finding out romeo killed tybalt) = “serpent heart” and “beautiful tyrant” to portray conflict
