What are the internal types of conflict?
Character vs. Self
What are the external types of conflict?
Character vs. character
Character vs. society

Character vs. supernatural
Character vs. technology
What is conflict?
It is a physical or ideological force that prevents the main character from getting what they want. Plot is driven by the conflict.
What is suspense?
The feeling of excitement and curiosity that keeps the reader turning the pages. Created by making the characters wonder how the conflict will end.
What is foreshadowing?
A technique for hinting at events that may occur later in the plot.
What is flashback?
A reminder of things that have happened in the past, to know what the character has been through. Gives us a better understanding of the person when we have little time left.
