Entrant, Attendant, Supervisor
Technician working in confined space
Entrant
Remains outside of the confined space To monitor and coordinate
Attendant
Ensures Permit is signed and generally oversees entire operation
Supervisor
Can Detect most common gases in a confined Space
Monitor equipment
Gives the Entrant a safe Atmosphere in which to work and Breathe
Ventilation Equipment
Can be very effective in helping remove an unconscious Entrant from confined space
Rescue and Retrieval system

Blow the Hole and Monitor continuously
A confined Space is
Large enough and configured that an Employee can bodily enter and perform assigned work has limited or restricted means of entry or exit, Is not designed for continuous employee occupancy
Types of non permit confined spaces
Basements, Attics, Crawl spaces and cellars Residential
Permit required spaces
Contains or has the potential to contain Hazardous Atmosphere, Contains Material that has the potential to engulf the worker, Is configure in such a way that a worker could be trapped or Ashpyxiated by inwardly walls of floors which slopes downward and tapers off to a small cross section
