Perfect HEALTH

Purely an Empty condition
- typically chronic
- not very common d/t usual presence of pathogenic factors in deficiency

Purely a Full condition (internal or external)
- external: strong wind-heat
- internal/chronic: strong QI stagnation from emotional problems

When you have a strong PF and deficiency Zheng Qi you have
A
Full/Empty condition which may be internal or external
- very common
- external: strong external wind but a low grade fever
- internal: serious condition of phlegm, SP/KD are deficient

Mixed Full and Empty condition
- external: mild wind with no fever, pt. can work through condition
- internal: mild dampness, strong Spleen- sx. are mild.

Mixed Full and Empty condition
- mildest of mixed conditions
- sx. could linger for years not getting better or worse
- chronic deficiency with mild damp or phlegm
