Meralgia Paresthetica
Entrapment of the lateral cutaneous nerve of the thigh. Causes pain, paresthesias, and sensory loss.
Piriformis Syndrome
Impingement of the sciatic nerve at piriformis mm. Causes tingling or pain down path of sciatic nerve.
Osteoathritis
Degenerative disease. Breakdown of joint cartilage. Results in joint pain and stiffness.
Prepatellar Bursitis
Inflammation of bursa. Creates pressure on adjacent parts of the knee.
Patellar Tindinopathy
Overuse injury. Results from the patellar tendon being overstressed. Jumper’s knee
Patellofemoral Pain
Posterior patella grinds on the patellar surface of the femur (particularly lateral). Discomfort while sitting with bent knees, decending stairs.
ITB Syndrome
Overuse injury. When the ITB becomes tight or inflamed.
Lateral Ankle Sprain
Inversion and plantarflexion. ATFL, CFL, PTFL
Peroneal Tendinopathy/Subluxation
Insidious onset. Tendon sheath detatches and tendons are allowed to ‘flick’ over lateral malleolus. Can occur with LAS
Osteitis Pubis
Overuse injury. Tissue damage and inflammation of the pubic symphasis. Groin pain.
