• observers may be required to man stations

per checklist in ANPL

• ICS (intercoms) check
• Obtain equipment health status
• Check Alerts
• Clear unnecessary alerts

Aircraft inspection at any time or following turbulence/lightning etc

• INMARSAT ceiling hatch
• Port/Starboard Satellite power rack C/b’s
• individual rack SMOKE indicator lights
• SPDS FND FLR (find failure)
• A/c surfaces and engines from windows
• Toilet and galley
• Secure loose gear

T/o and landing

• take to assigned ditching stations with headsets worn and ICS net 1 selected
• fasten seatbelt
• don appropriate take off/landing gear
• stow all loose equipment
• remain in position until released by aircraft commander
