Q

What is the biggest downside of using gonadotrophin for ovulation induction?

A

It is a multifollicular recruitment:

  • Risk of multiple pregnancies
  • Risk of Ovarian Hyperstimulation

This is why monitoring scans are advised for every gonadotrophin OI cycle.
