- Gas cools, particles lose kinetic energy
- Attractive forces pull particles closer together
- If they come close enough condensation will take place

A
- particles escape from a liquid if they are close enough to the surface and moving in the correct direction
- The particles have to move fast enough to overcome the attractive forces

The temperature falls, just like when you sweat
