How is ground fog produced?
Cooling below dew point of air in contact with ground by radiation. Often on still clear nights.
How is valley for produced?
Cooled air has drained downhill into the valley and then condensation has taken place
What does fog form on and what does it form from?
Condensation nuclei and made by evaporation from ground water
How is advection fog formed?
By moist air being blown over a cool surface which cools the air to dew point.
How is headland fog formed?
By the cooling of rising air coming over the headland from the sea

Cirrus, Cirrostratus, Cirrocumulus
What are the middle clouds?
Altostratus, Altocumulus
What are the low clouds?
Stratus, Stratocumulus, Nimbostratus
what are the vertically developed clouds?
Cumulus, Cumulonimbus

Above the equator

Orbits fixed in space
