Q

How is pressure controlled in the CST?

A

By two breather relief valves (PSV-8 and PSV-23)

  • protects from over-pressure or vacuum
  • pass sufficient flow in the event of N2 supply fails open
  • pass sufficient intake air during hotwell makeup
