§ 620 - Conlusive Presumptions
What authority establishes which presumptions are conclusive?
The presumptions established by this article and all other presumptions declared by law as conclusive are conclusive presumptions.
§ 622 - Facts Recited in Writing
What presumption does the court apply to facts contained in a writing?
The facts recited in a written instrument are conclusively presumed as true between the parties to it or their successors in interest.
This rule does not apply to the recital of a consideration.
§ 623 - Estoppel by Statement or Conduct
What is estoppel by statement of conduct?
When a party intentionally leads another to believe something is true and to act upon that belief, he is not permitted to contradict the representation in any litigation arising from his statement or conduct.
