Overall, the UK has an ageing population which will implicate various government pressures such as the need for more individuals in the economically active sector of the population. Currently, the UK has few young dependants and many economically active people who will eventually contribute to the ageing population.

Overall, Nigeria has many young dependants and a decreasing number of individuals as the age group rises indicating a high birth and death rate. There will be a pressure for jobs in the future as people start to live longer with improving medical facilities.
