-Developing habits through practice
-Emulating or modeling virtuous people
Pros of virtue ethics:
-The theory focused on attention on developing people rather than rules and punishments
-Educating the world, creating a good society
-The theory is useful because we are more interested in determining moral character of a person rather than their actions
-The theory incorporates the whole human life in order to live well (Virtuous person)
Cons of virtue ethics:
-The concept of virtue is very unclear
-Theory fails to adequately cover cases between virtues
-Many virtues assert being virtuous (its necessary) to live a good life
