Q

What does the computer analogy suggest?

A

That the human brain works like a computer:

  • Information is imported through our environment (in the form of our 5 senses)
  • Then it is processed (STM or working memory)
  • Then it outputs information (behaviour)
  • It can also store information on a hard drive (LTM)
