- patient sits in a chair
- get up and walk 10ft and return to chair
- fail if more than 20 secs (needs further check up)

- folstein mini-mental state exam (MMSE)
- Montreal cognitive assessment (MOCA)
- clock draw test (CDT)
- verbal fluency or animal naming
- mini-cog (4/7) need further testing
