Complex Drone Movements Flashcards
Parallax
The drone moves horizontally while the camera pans in the opposite direction, creating a dynamic shift in the foreground and background perspectives.
Dronie
A combination of a selfie and a drone shot. The drone starts close to the subject(s) and then moves backward and upward, revealing the surrounding landscape as it goes.
Tilt reveal
The drone moves forward while simultaneously tilting the camera up, revealing the landscape or subject in a dramatic manner.
Low-to-high reveal
The drone starts close to the ground, gradually increasing altitude to reveal a larger landscape or point of interest.
High-to-low reveal
The opposite of the low-to-high reveal, the drone starts at a higher altitude and lowers down to focus on a specific subject or scene, creating a sense of intimacy.
Slant (Dutch angle)
The drone tilts the camera diagonally, creating an unusual and disorienting perspective that can add dramatic tension to a shot.
Corkscrew
The drone ascends or descends while simultaneously rotating around its own axis, creating a spiraling motion that adds visual interest.
Vertical parallax
The drone moves vertically while the camera tilts down or up in the opposite direction. This creates a sense of depth and perspective, as the foreground and background appear to move at different speeds.
