Grammar
Tài verb le
Le is almost invariably to be found with the adverb tài (too):
Tài hǎo le - great
Tài xièxie nǐmen le - thanks very much indeed
Grammar
Adverbial phrases of time (time when)
Most adverbs precede the verb including adverbs of ‘time when’:
Qǐng nǐmen míngtiān lái - please come tomorrow
Míngtiān precedes lái - the reverse of English usage. Some adverbs can also precede the subject or topic for emphasis:
Wǒ jīntiān lái, míngtiān wǒ bù lái - I’ll come today, but tomorrow I’m not coming
Grammar
Verb-Object constructions
A feature of Chinese so that while an English-speaker may simply state that ‘he likes eating’ or ‘she is going to eat’, a Chinese will normally say that he likes ‘eating cooked rice’ or that she is ‘going to eat cooked rice’.
The test is whether le can be inserted between the two parts or not. If so, then it is a verb-object construction. For example we can say chī le fàn but not xiè le xie or xǐ le huan
