I let the final account discussion for delivery agreement to additional scope instructed. I first gathered all relevant information and understood our final account position from a clients perspective. I then discussed the final account and came to mutual agreement with the contractor.

At Littlewood fencing the contractor encountered a cable strike. I advised the project manager to stop the works to enable health and safety review to be carried out in line with the employees requirements subsequently issued and instruction for the works to be stopped pending further investigation.

I encountered bottles of water that the workforce left out in the Sun during hot conditions which posed the potential risk to health advised the PM to instruct a timber shelter to be built to mitigate the risk of the water being in the Sun.

At Branford substation, I counted someone not wearing the correct PPE. They weren’t wearing gloves as required, so I notify the PM direct by the issue.
