What are compass directions?
A
The points of the compass, specifically on the compass rose, mark divisions of a compass into the four cardinal directions — north, south, east, and west — and often into subdivisions as well.

How do you use compass directions? (Look at the examples below)
A
The red alien is south of the letter A. The blue alien is west of the green alien. The letter B is east of the red alien. The letter A is north of the red alien. More specific compass directions: The blue alien is south west of the letter A. The red alien is south east of the blue alien. The alien in the UFO is south east of the red alien. The green alien is north west of the letter B. The green alien is north east of the letter B.
