Influential to many Christians as it is a channel of communication and enables a deeper spiritual understanding of Gods truth

Revealed to Muhammad during Laylat Al Qadr (The Night of Power) by Angel Jibril. Muslims believe it to be the actual word of Allah
Written in Arabic and consists of 114 Surahs
Contains rules and teachings about how Muslims should live their life
Treated with great respect as it is believed to be the actual words of Allah so it contains extreme moral jurisdiction and authority.
Muslims read it on a stand and keep it wrapped in cloth to preserve it as well as place it on the highest shelf to emphasise its power towards Muslims

One of the oldest holy books in world religion
Originally written in Hebrew
Must be shown great respect to remain in as good condition as possible due to the importance of the words within it.
For this reason its to be read with a pointer called a “Yad”
Also rested on a “Bihmah” (a reading table)
Torah is kept inside a special cupboard when not in use called an “Ark”

Collection of the most important teachings from the previous ten Gurus in Sikhism
Treated with great respect like the Torah
When in use it is placed on the “Takht” (throne in punjabi) to show its importance
When not in use its wrapped in special cloth and carried above someones head to its own bed expressing its impactful jurisdiction to many Sikhs
