Set an agenda
Make a note of key points
Be ready and on time

Why might you need to use meeting minutes of reference
In case there was a dispute, these would be the first records to review
If the project was audited
How do you confirm the accuracy of meeting minutes
I check at the start of the meeting if the minutes from the previous meeting are agreed
Issue a draft for comment
What would you do if someone challenged the meeting minutes?
What would you do if you disagreed with their recollection
If I had made a mistake I would apologise and make a note of the minutes
I would query with the rest of the project team
