A deviation (FAR 1.401) means any one or combination of the following:

Prescribed for use in recording bids
SF 1442 - Solicitation, Offer & Award (Construction, Alteration, or Repair)
Used for soliciting offers and awarding contracts expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. These acquisitions may be for:
- construction, alteration, or repair; or
- dismantling, demolition, or removal of improvements
