Right words
Correct volume, pitch and tone
Facial expressions and non verbal communication - good eye contact, head up, open body language.
Being a good listener - strength relationships, help others feel confident, focus on the speaker.

Set of standards agreed and how someone must report inline with these standards.

Us and bank we have specific template we use for our valuation reports. Vals want a groundsafe report.
Any reporting standards away from vals?
When preparing appeal documents to the VOA we have a certain reporting format to maintain professionalism and make sure I include all the information needed within the appeal.

Initially it was quite stand offish
But then we listened to each others points of view
we then began to discuss our points
which led to a compromise by both parties to meet in the middle
it ended well.
