when you really don’t think they have nausea, but want to give them something
Diphenhydramine (benadryl ) 25 mg

12.5 IV, 25 mg PO

use only in Gastroparesis. definetely avoid in gastric outlet obstructions. causes tardive dyskinesia
Metoclopramide (reglan) 10 mg IV

Strongest we have, technically only supposed to be used for chemo-related nausea
Ondasentron (zofran)

Dexamethasone
8 mg, 10 mg, 12 mg IV or PO

Lorazepam (Ativan)
0.5, 1 mg IV or PO

Ceftriaxone AND Azithromycin

UTI first choice
amoxicillin
3 days for uncomplicated

7 days for uncomplicated

14 days for abcess
Meningitis
Vanc AND ceftriaxone AND steroids 7 days
cellulitis MRSA
Vancomycin OR clindamycin 7 days
