Radiating Pain - Sciatica / Lumbar Radiculopathy

A

S&S:
- Signs of nerve root involvement (loos of function) may be present
- LBP with radiating pain in the involved extremity (lancinating, burning, electric pain, OR paresthesia)

CA:
- Kemp’s t
- Neurodynamic (SLR, SLUMP, PKB, SLUMP knee bend)
- Peripheral neurological exam
- Mechanical diagnosis (symptoms changes in response to repeated direction- specific movements)
