How do you prevent DOMS?
Have a pre work that is moderate, hydrate and always stretch after
What is a sprain ?
Within the ligaments, swelling and bruising occurs, different levels of pain include mild to severe
Explain a strain.
Occurs within a tendon or muscle
Acute or chronic pain
Causes weakness, muscle spasm, bruising, swelling
What is the treatment for sprains and strains ?
Talk to doc, reduce swelling, use RICE, takes 4-12 weeks to heal
Explain the symptoms of tendinitis, impingement syndrome, bursitis or shoulder
Discomfort, trouble sleeping, pain, referred pain, use RICE and strengthening exercises
Explain a dislocated shoulder ?
Ball slips out of joint, pain is caused by movement, numbness, shoulder instability
Patella-femoral syndrome
