Giving mean or irritating label or title to an individual or a group of people, concept or view.
Name-calling
Commited when words/phrases that are extensively loaded with emotions are used to appeal one’s senses and biases to distract the listeners/readers from the truth of the matter.
Emotional Manipulation
It means “does not necessarily follow”.
Non-sequitur
It justifies a wrong deed.
Rationalizing
It makes one’s judgment based on limited sampling. It is always inaccurate and biased.
Hasty Generalization
It uses well-known personalities for endorsing to persuade or influence others.
Appeal to Authority
It encourages someone to follow what most people are doing.
Bandwagon
The conclusion is merely stated in another way instead of providing proofs to the arguement.
Circular reasoning
Veering away the arguement from the main point of discussion.
Distraction
It is known as character assassination.
