Artificial intelligence – the creation of computing machines that can simulate human intelligence.
Encryption
The conversion of data into code to prevent unauthorized access.
Latency
A delay in the transfer of data.
Storage
An electromagnetic archive
Data Migration
Process of converting data from one format to another. Typically performed to launch new or upgraded systems, infrastructure, functions or features.
Example:
Database scrips
Quantification
Mapping of human perception and thought to numbers.
Example:
Pain scale (1-10)
Hotel star ratings
Data Attribute
A characteristic of data that sets it apart from other data, such as location, length, or type.
