URTI
It is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis/symptoms usually coughing blood.
Tuberculosis
This is the inflammation of the bronchial airways.
Bronchitis
This is the infection of one or both lungs/difficulty in breathing.
Pneumonia
This is an intestinal illness. Symptoms are diarrhea and abdominal pain.
Amebiasis
This causes high fever, cough, colds, and joint muscles pains.
Influenza
State of being diseased or unhealthy.
Morbidity
Refers to death.
Mortality
It is a microbe that cause a disease and may be transmitted by air.
Pathogen
It is a living organism that transmits infectious diseases between humans or from animals to humans. Most common are mosquitoes.
Vector
Symptoms usually include dehydration/diarrhea and vomiting for several days.
Gastroenteritis
Stage of infection when the time from exposure to first symptoms.
Incubation Period
Stage of infection when the early symptoms start to appear.
Prodrome Stage
Stage of infection when the peak of symptoms and illness appear.
Disease/Illness Stage
Stage of infection when the symptoms start to decrease/person begins to feel better.
