Common ACS Alarms Flashcards
Indicates an access control door violation; meaning the door was opened without a valid card read or free egress
DOOR FORCED
Indicates a valid entry, but the controlled door remained open beyond the allotted time
DOOR PROPPED
Indicates an invalid PIN was entered multiple times in succession during a system/partition arming/disarming attempt
ENTRY DENIED-INVALID PIN
Indicates that a valid user disarmed the system/partition outside of the programmed arm/disarm shift
INVALID TIME
Indicates that a card that is unknown to the system is being used to attempt to access the area
UNKNOWN CARD
Indicates an authorized user trying to access an area to which they have not been granted access
USER RESTRICTED
This alarm displays when an ECP portal has been put into lockdown and someone has been captured within an entrapment area
ENTRAPMENT LOCKDOWN
A warning alarm. Indicating that someone has been in an ECP entrapment area for 2 minutes without completing the entrance/exit process
ENTRAPMENT OCCUPIED 2 MINUTES
A warning alarm indicating that someone serving as an escort for a visitor is attempting to leave before the visitor they are escorting
ESCORT LEAVING BEFORE VISITOR
