A positive classroom environment is one in which students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, taking risks, asking questions and confronting challenges in their learning.
Presenting clear classroom expectations
Provide opportunities to improve social skills
Build relationships with my students and offer relevant content.
I try to clarify the expectations and reasons for collaboration before I allow them to work in groups or pairs.
Show the relevance of curriculum and lessons. I want the students to feel they are connected to the content culturally, socially and personally.
