Higher Education Act of 1994

vested with the power to set minimum standards for programs, including BS MT / BS MLS, and institutions of
higher learning.
Technical Panels
- assist the CHED in setting standards and in program and institution monitoring and
evaluation - composed of
senior specialists or academicians to be appointed by the
CHED.
The technical panels are the:
- ad hoc
recommendatory bodies to the CHED on the setting of minimum standards for programs and institutions of
higher learning.
