1) the colour must match the gender of the noun it’s describing. (Unless it’s ‘Orange’ or ‘Marron’
2) if the colour is accompanied by an adverb such as une nuance … bleu it doesn’t need to match the noun and will remain in its masculine form.
3) in French the colour comes after the noun, for example the red car would be le voiture rouge
