Truman, Stalin, Churchill, and Attlee attended. Truman was willing to stand up to the USSR and didn’t allow the USSR to join them in fighting the Japanese

countries west of the soviet union but still controlled by the soviet union as they didn’t allow many elections and the elections that took place were rigged this was so they didn’t become capitalist and destroy the eastern buffer zone

a speech was given by Churchill in which he said “an iron curtain has descended upon Europe” between the soviet union and the rest of Europe

when Stalin ordered all transport and deliveries to the west of Berlin to be halted so the west would starve and have to turn to communism

when Stalin blocked the west of Berlin of transport the US airdropped food to the west so they could continue with their lives this also led to Stalin ending the blockade after 9 months

the currency in the west so that the west could start developing an economy

east Germany’s currency created to rival the Deutschmark but was inferior as it was fueled by communism which was less effective than capitalism
