- 1912 Qing dynasty fell (European imperialism. Opium wars, treaty of nanjing, sino Japanese warm boxer rebellion)

How did the treaty of Nanking lead to the fall of the Qing Dynasty?
It let imperial powers take over parts of China. Frustrated chines because their own nation wasn’t controlling the country
Who was Sun Yet Sen?
He grew up western (Hawaii), wanted to westernize China and start a republic.
When the Qing dynasty fell, he was made leader of KMT(republic)
When did the Qing dynasty officially end?
Oct 1911 the Wuchang Uprising BC of an anti government plot
What did Sat Yet Sen’s death have on China?
Uh everything went to shit and the alliance between the KMT and CCP FELL :(
