We cannot directly see processes such as thinking but we can infer what a person is thinking based on how they act
What is a schema and how does it contribute to the cognitive approach?
A “schema” is a packet of information or cognitive framework that helps us organise and interpret information and are based on our previous experience

Computer model/Theoretical models
Comparing cognitive processing to computer models it allowed to create theoretical models such as the Multi store model
What is Cognitive neuroscience?
The scientific study of the influence of the brain structure on mental processes
