Two types of coffee beans?
Arabica accounting for around 70% of the world’s coffee production. Arabica have a sweeter, sugary taste.
Robusta beans have a much stronger taste, and the caffeine content is about twice that of Arabica coffee beans.
Countries coffee beans are grown?
Africa, Kenya and India
How many mls in a single shot of coffee?
30-35mls
When making a cappuccino?
Coffee- 30-35 mls
Milk- 1/3
Foam- 1/3 of fine foam
How many grams do you need to make a cappuccino?
30 grams
Different types of coffee?
Flat white. Espresso. Long Black. Cappuccino. Caffe Latte.
Crema?
Is the thick creamy golden foam that sits on top of the espresso, it is the oils from the coffee beans.
Couser grind =
Quicker pour.
Finer grind =
Slower pour.
What temp should the milk be in the texturing process?
65 degrees
