Why journalists must follow it? (respecting rights, honesty, fairness and independence)

Answer 1

1. To avoid conflict that may harm to integrity of an entity (to protect the privacy of others)
2. It’s important to avoid any false impressions. For example, if you clickbait titles you may oversimplify the truth as a journalist.
3. Separate from political influence. Meaning that the journalist will show respect and honesty.
