What are coherent rocks?
A
Resistant rock - closely packed particles, few/no lines of weakness, erode slowly.

What are incoherent rocks?
A
Non-resistant rock - loosely packed particles, lots of lines of weakness, fast rates of erosion/weathering/mass movement.

What are concordant coastlines?
A
Rock types run parallel to the sea and often produce straighter coastlines.

What are discordant coastlines?
A
Rock types outcrop at right angles to the sea and often produce headlands and bays.
