A

Industry - private firms and people usually own own all businesses, agriculture and industry.
Economy- this is a free market economy, companies can make and sell any goods in order to make profit

A

Government - two or more political parties run the country and compete through elections. This is a democracy.
Wealth - there are huge differences of wealth throughout the country as there is in most capitalist countries

A

A

USA delayed ‘a second front’ and Stalin believed this to be evidence that they hoped Nazi Germany and the USSR would destroy each other

What did Stalin want a buffer zone for and what did Truman think it was for?

A

Stalin wanted one as to create a barrier against the West, this barrier was to be made up of communist run countries in Eastern Europe. Truman thought that this was only for domination over Eastern Europe and spread communism around it.

A

A

How Germany would be divided and occupied. Each power would take reparations from its own zone, USSR would take some from British and US zones in return for food, fuel and raw materials.
An allied control council would be set up to coordinate the activities of the four zones.
