CNS, Two Types Of Tissue, Garry matter and white matter Flashcards
1
Q
Garry matter
A
Contains neurons with short, nonmyelinated axons make up the CNS no part has myelin sheaths
Contains the central part of spinal cord. It is surface layer of the brain.
2
Q
White matter
A
Contains myelinated axons that run together in bundles called tracts. Has long axons which make up CNS of the brain, are carrying messages from one part to another. It is lies deep within the gray matter.
