Characteristics of CN III- Oculomotor nerve

A
  1. Fibers extend from the ventral midbrain, pass through the superior orbital fissure, and go to the extrinsic eye muscle.
  2. Situated in the anterior part of gray matter that surround cerebral aqueduct of the midbrain.
  3. Lies at the level of superior colliculus
