Characteristics of CN III- Oculomotor nerve
A
- Fibers extend from the ventral midbrain, pass through the superior orbital fissure, and go to the extrinsic eye muscle.
- Situated in the anterior part of gray matter that surround cerebral aqueduct of the midbrain.
- Lies at the level of superior colliculus
