One safeguard of course is to know the law and the
policies in place regarding those issues. Next is to
safeguard one’s privacy by exercising netiquette at all
times. Another is also to share one’s knowledge and
technological literacy to others to help bridge the digital divide
How do we navigate the often-gray areas between these issues and demonstrate ethics as smart users of media?
These often-gray areas are called just that because they are nuanced and complicated. However, we must try to be ethical to all parties involved and exercise universal values such as integrity and respect for privacy.
