What is the first step of cloning?
An unfertilised egg cells is taken from an adult female and the nucleus is removed.
What is the second step in cloning?
A body cell is taken from another adult, the nucleus is removed from this adult body cell and is inserted in the egg cell.
What is the third step of cloning?
An eletric shock stimultes the egg cell to divide to form an embryo. These embryo cells contain the same genetic information as the adult body cell.
What is the fourth step of cloning?
When the embryo has developed into a ball of cells it is inserted into the womb of an adult female surrogate to continue its development.
What happens at the end of the cloning system?
The baby born will be a clone of the adult who donated the body cell because it has the same DNA.
