What is cloning
The reproduction of the same organism with the same genes
Why do people use cloning
To aquire desired characteristics for an organism
How does cloning work
It is done by remvoing the body cell of the animal you want to clone and then you put it into the egg cell of a female organism which has had it’s egg cell removed and then via electric shock a baby is being formed by cell divison.
What is insemination
When the gamate of a male organism (which has the desirable genes) is extracted and then implanted to a female who will give birth to a baby with the desired genes.
What is selective breeding
When you breed organisms together to get desired characteristics
What can be drawn to show a genetic cross in breeding
A punnet square
What can be a con of cloning
You could spread genetic diseases or have different disorders
