What are symptoms ?

-fatigue
-weakness
-anorexia
- diffuse MS pain
= nonspecific symp
- pain involved jts
prolonged morning joint stifness

what are signs
A
- MCP, PIP, MTP - wrist joints
- joint mov symmetric
- limited joint function
- swan neck / boutonneire deformities
- joitn inflamm - tenderness, warmth, swelling , erythema
- low grade fever

what extraarticular signs?
A
- skin - sc nodules
- ocular - keratoconjunctivtiies sicca, scleritis
- pulmonary - intersitial fibrosis, pulmonary nodules, pleuritis, pleural effusions
- vasculitis - ischaemic ulcers, skin lesions, leukocytoclastic vaculitis
- neutrological - peripheral neuropathy , felty syndrome
- haematologyic - anemic , thrombocytosis

what are lab tests done for RA?
A
- RF
- elvated ESR , CRP
- FBC - increase WBC, anemia, thrombocytosis
- ACPA

- synovial fluid analysis
- joint x- rays - evulate damage
- MRI - detect erosions
