What is the clinical significance of bronchopulmonary segment?
A
It can be surgically removed on its own as it’s independent of each other due to it’s own segmental bronchi/arterial supply

Describe the route of a bronchoscopy?
A
passed through nose into oropharynx and then into tracheal tree where small biopsies are taken

Why does aspiration of foreign bodies occur in the right bronchi
A
Because the right bronchi is wider and more vertical than left
