inflammation of the pericardium
Abscess

Blister
collection of exudate, strips exudate
Lobar Pneumonia
caused by bacteria, worsening fever, hypoxaemia, dry cough and breathlessness
Bacterial Meningitis
acute inflammation of the meninges can cause vascular thrombosis, reduce cerebral perfusion
Chronic Granulatomas Disease
genetic defect in the NADPH, causes enhanced susceptability to bacterial infections
eg pneumonia
Galactosaemia
excess NADPH consumed, compromised defences against ROS damage
build up of galactitol causing vomitting and renal failurew
Paracetamol
causes enzymes to be saturated so build up of a toxic metabolite NAPQI
